As the school had yet to report the death to police. Monica Cherobon, mother of the deceased, said he was in good condition when he left for school that morning. He was taken to a nearby dispensary then referred to Nandi Hills County Hospital. Nandi County Commissioner Herman Shiambi called for an investigation to establish what happened.
