The Independent National Election Commission (INEC) has postponed the state governor and parliamentary elections until March 18.

 

The Independent National Election Commission (INEC) has postponed the state governor and parliamentary elections until March 18.

The election was originally scheduled to be held on March 11. Elections could not be rescheduled as planned after a meeting of executives on Wednesday night.

The Committee persuaded the Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal to change the license order for Peter Obi of the Labor Party and Atiku Abubakar of the PDP to examine election documents on the basis that they had to reconfigure the Public Security System. Get Two Way Voter (BVAS) to conduct the polls this Saturday.
